I think this poem is brilliant
The line that really got me is. "the bent photograph is famous to the one who carries it and not at all famous o the or who is pictured." it made me think how sometimes a person can mean a lot to someone and that person doesn't even realize it, or care in some cases. I wish I could do this kind of thing. Take normal objects and ideas and throw a spin into them that makes you think about things differently.
This poem makes me want to write poetry.

If my shoes could talk
Dear walker
Hey, how are you? Your feet ok?
You've been walking kinda funny lately, just wondering.
So umm. . . . I have a favor to ask you. Could you like, not wear me so often? I'm not as young as I used to to and my soul is starting to fall apart. It kinda hurts.
My laces are getting kinda filthy and I haven't had a bath in a long time. You've been working me so hard I haven't had time to visit your brothers vans for months. I promised I'd stop by soon so maybe wear your tennis shoes tomorrow?
Don't get me wrong, we've had some great runs. But I think it's time to move on. Maybe try some nice Adidas out. Or maybe a decent pair of nikes if your into that.
