If you really knew me
If you really knew me, you'd know I'm not always as quiet as I seem in class. You'd know I sing really loud in the car and love to blast the red hot chili peppers with the widows down.
If you really knew me you'd know I prefer mountains to the beach, my favorite color is green (sorry Nelson) and I'm not a big fan of pie.
I didn't used to know how to whistle but now I do. And it drives my parents crazy.
I wish my life were more like a movie. Full of action and suspense. But you'd also know I can barely get myself to smash a spider in my shower. By the way I'm afraid of spiders.
If you really knew me you'd know I'm a lot like a pop tart. Crunchy and hard on the outside, but soft and gooey on the inside. I have trouble expressing my feelings and getting what's on the inside to show on the surface.
You'd know I don't mind watching chick flicks and I like reading books with a little romance in them, but only a little.
If you really knew me you'd know I'm a Mormon, you'd know I'm excited to go on a mission but it also freaks me out that it's coming up.
You'd know my family is moving to new York in less than a month while I stay here for college. I pretend I'm ok with it but if you really knew me you'd know I'm only about half as confident as I pretend to be and being here alone scares the hell out of me.

Call to adventure
17 year old Kevin Dempsey is a C average high school student living in some backwater city outside chicago when, one afternoon he gets a call from his father who's been dead for 3 years.
Is kevin's father alive?
If not what would your 3 years-past-expiration dead father be calling for?
And will Kevin ever get his grades up? (maybe that's what his father is calling for. . .)
